Vung Tau is an old port town located to the southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, developed under French rule into a seaside resort called Cap Saint Jacques. Known by the French as Cap Saint Jacques, Vung Tau is a weekend getaway destination favored by many residents of Ho Chi Minh City. Departing from Saigon to Vung Tau, we will visit:

Thich Ca Phat Dai Pagoda: This is a hillside park featuring massive Buddha statues built in the early 1960s. It is a must-see location for domestic tourists.
Statue of Our Lady of Bai Dau Vung Tau with picturesque scenery: This is a complex of structures including the statue of Our Lady and a shrine located on the slope of Bai Dau mountain in Vung Tau city. Visiting the statue of Our Lady of Vung Tau, visitors can admire the unique architecture and relax in the poetic natural scenery here.
Giant Jesus Statue: This massive 30-meter-tall statue of Jesus Christ was built in 1974 next to the lighthouse. Visitors can reach the statue by walking up the path leading up the hill.
