ITINERARY
DAY 1 | HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL – HALF DAY CITY TOUR
Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, our guide and driver will take you to the hotel for check in. Ho Chi Minh city also popularly known as Saigon, is the largest city in Vietnam in terms of population and economy, the second largest in terms of area. Ho Chi Minh is one of the most important economic, cultural, and educational centers of the country.
SAIGON NOTRE-DAME CATHEDRAL (OUTSIDE)
- The name Notre-Dame evokes memories of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in France – one of the icons of the City of Light. Except for a few minor differences in the main entrance and domes, these two cathedrals share many architectural similarities, both featuring a main hall and two adjacent aisles with high towers on either side. Inside Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral is a specially designed structure capable of withstanding a load ten times greater than the entire weight of the building itself.
REUNIFICATION PALACE (INDEPENDENCE PALACE)
- As a famous historical landmark, the Independence Palace attracts many tourists from all over the world to visit and learn about its history. When visiting this palace, you will witness the vivid relics of a bygone era, fostering a deeper appreciation for life. Located on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, Ben Thanh Ward, it is classified as a Special National Monument. This place has witnessed many historical events and the ups and downs of the country, especially the liberation of the South on April 30, 1975.
SAIGON CENTRAL POST OFFICE
- Featuring beautiful Renaissance architecture that is still well-preserved to this day, the post office is a nostalgic stop in the heart of the bustling, modern city. One of the highlights that attracts visitors to the Saigon Central Post Office is its meticulous and delicate carvings, large curved arched windows, and unique design. The combination of royal European style and Asian openness has created one of the most beloved attractions in Saigon.
WAR REMNANTS MUSEUM
- Located on Vo Van Tan Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, the War Remnants Museum vividly recreates the picture of Vietnam during the years of the anti-American war. The remaining artifacts and images serve as compelling evidence of the history, while reflecting the resilient spirit and determination of the Vietnamese people to regain national independence. In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Here you can also join in the daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside.
Visit the bee house and take pictures of the pythons. The boat cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal, entering Ben Tre province — “the land of coconuts.” Here you’ll see a typical agricultural model called “Garden – Pond – Cage,” before visiting the coconut candy-making shop.

Imagine the state of this peaceful district when it was a “Free Target Area” and suffered heavy destruction and damage from bombing.

It is also a place where the sentiments and beliefs of the country’s compatriots and soldiers converge. The construction of the mausoleum began on September 2, 1973, and was inspired by Lenin’s Mausoleum in Moscow but incorporates distinct Vietnamese architectural elements, such as the sloping roof. The mausoleum was officially inaugurated on August 29, 1975. The exterior of the building is made of grey granite, while the interior is constructed from red, black, and grey polished stone. The embalmed body of President Ho Chi Minh is preserved in the cooler, central hall of the mausoleum, which is protected by a military honor guard. The Mausoleum complex also includes Ba Dinh Square, Presidential Palace, and Uncle Ho’s Stilt house. T
