The Cu Chi Tunnels – an amazing underground network was dug by Vietkong soldiers throughout the war is a must-see historical destination in Southern Vietnam.

Mekong Delta is a fascinating destination on holidays. Besides stunning and peaceful rural landscapes, the hospitable and welcoming locals play a vital role in attracting sightseers.

This combined tour is specially designed for people who do not have much time in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), but we still highly suggest to sightsee them separately if you could arrange your time.

This tour is ideal for those with limited time in Ho Chi Minh City. Please note that covering both the tunnels and the Mekong Delta in one day may feel rushed. If you have two days available, we recommend spreading the activities over two separate days to ensure the best experience.

PRIVATE TOUR

Departure: While departures can be arranged at any time, we recommend starting between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM for the best experience.

When you book in advance, we will ensure that the best guide from our company is scheduled for your tour.

GROUP TOUR

Pick-Up: We will pick up guests from different hotels. Please be patient with our driver, as morning traffic in HCMC can be very congested.

Drop-Off: Between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM, depending on traffic. Please be aware of this to avoid missing other evening activities. We highly recommend booking a private tour if you have other tours or activities scheduled for the same evening.

ITINERARY

Pick up at your hotel and drive to Cu Chi (60km – 1,5 hours)

Upon arrival, watch a documentary film.

Discover special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs.

Discover an underground town.

Discover many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels and learning more about the handmade weapon and traps.

Visit rice paper workshop.

Taste special tea and tapioca (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served

After Cu Chi Tunnel, we go ahead to My Tho and have lunch on the way at local restaurant.

Arrival My Tho, the boat trip takes you to visit some small Island with many landscapes. Here we can enjoy some of tropical fruits while listening to traditional South Vietnamese folk songs performed by local artists. Then we will visit small Bee Farm, where we can play with the pythons and trying some honey tea, and taste local confectionery.

Finally, we will have a short rowing boat ride to small canal, enjoy the fresh air under the cool green water palm.

Drive back HCMC late afternoon. End of service.
