My Son is the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century. Their religion was primarily derived from Indian Hinduism. My Son is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham structures in Vietnam . The complex is comprised of seventy Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the second century. Upon arrival Hue, have a lunch.\n\nAfternoon, half day city tour to visit the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945, King Khai Dinh&#8217;s tomb or Thien Mu pagoda. Overnight in Hue.\n\n<em>Hue used to be Vietnam&#8217;s political capital from 1802 to 1945 under the 13 emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty. Traditionally, the city has been one of Vietnam&#8217;s cultural, religious and education centers. Today, Hue\u2019s main attractions are the splendid tombs of the Nguyen emperors, several notable pagodas and the remains of the Citadel. On December 11th, 1993, Hue was recognized as the World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.<\/em>\n\n<strong>DAY 04: HUE \u2013 PHONG NHA CAVE &#8211; HUE\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (B\/ L\/-)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/strong>\n\nBreakfast at hotel. Depart to Phong Nha \u2013 Ke Bang. Board a boat and cruise along the Son river to Phong Nha Cave with Bi Ky cave, Fairy (Co Tien) cave and Imperial (Cung Dinh) cave in the heart of mountain where there is an underground river flow from Laos, admire the beauty of grotto. After 700 metres, a large dry passage appears, allowing you to discover the cave on foot for a further 500 meters. You will also have a chance to explore the remains of Cham Altars and the inscriptions inside. Drive back to Hue.
