The peak season to travel to Vietnam is widely considered to be September to April, but there&#8217;s not necessarily a bad time to fly to Vietnam. Let\u2019s us begin!<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><em>*** Note: this is a guideline that shows how to travel in Viet Nam from the North, starting in H\u00e0 N\u1ed9i, our capital, to the South, finishing in H\u1ed3 Ch\u00ed Minh City (S\u00e0i G\u00f2n), our biggest city.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><em>3 Week Vietnam Itinerary from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Week 1: Hanoi, Halong Bay, Quang Binh<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Week 2: Hue, Danang, Hoian, Nha Trang<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Week 3: Nha Trang, Dalat, Saigon<\/p>\n&nbsp;\n<ol>\n \t<li><strong>Hanoi (3 days \/ 3 nights)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** What to do:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Wander around the Old Quarter and see the 36 different marketplaces with specific kind of trade goods, see and take in the crazy motorbikes, loud street vendors and the shops selling all manner of interesting things.\u00a0Spend some of your time to vist Ho\u00e0n Ki\u1ebfm Lake, located in the middle of the city and the Ng\u1ecdc S\u01a1n Temple, located in the middle of the lake.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">See the H\u1ed3 Ch\u00ed Minh Mausoleum complex with Ba \u0110\u00ecnh Square. No need to be told, you know for sure what you\u2019re about to see inside, don\u2019t ever try taking photos inside and above all, be wary of strange opening times and closures at certain times of year. This is a great insight into his life and ideology.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The Temple of Literature (V\u0103n Mi\u1ebfu Qu\u1ed1c T\u1eed Gi\u00e1m), which is nearby, will be a perfect place for visting because of its meaning, the first university of Vi\u1ec7t Nam.\u00a0Tr\u1ea5n Qu\u1ed1c Pagoda would be nice to finish your final day in H\u00e0 N\u1ed9i. This pagoda is of cultural importance as it was originally built in the 6th century, but still holds an important message for the future as &#8220;Tr\u1ea5n Qu\u1ed1c&#8221; means &#8220;stabilizing the nation&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Also, don\u2019t miss the West Lake (H\u1ed3 T\u00e2y) near to the pagoda, on your walk around the lake, try to see Ph\u1ee7 T\u00e2y H\u1ed3, in which worshiping Goddess Li\u1ec5u H\u1ea1nh, the Lady of the \u201cFour Immortals\u201d. There are extra excursions in the riverside of the Red River (S\u00f4ng H\u1ed3ng), B\u00fat Th\u00e1p Pagoda, D\u00e2u Pagoda, H\u1ecfa L\u00f2 Prison, \u2026 and try to remember this, once you are in big city, the driver is not going to stop and wait for you, be brave and beat them on the road!<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** Local delicacies:<\/em><\/strong> Ph\u1edf (famous beef noodle soup which is on top of every bucketlist when you visit H\u00e0 N\u1ed9i), B\u00e1nh Cu\u1ed1n (steamed rice rolls), C\u00e0 Ph\u00ea Tr\u1ee9ng (egg york coffee), B\u00fan Ch\u1ea3 (pork kebab noodle) and there is also vegan restaurants if you\u2019re not interested in meat.<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n \t<li value=\"2\"><strong>Halong Bay (2 days \/ 1 nights)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** What to do:<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0Sea and sight.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Visit the famous caves, there are \u0110\u1ea7u G\u1ed7 cave, S\u1eedng S\u1ed1t (Suprise) cave, Thi\u00ean Cung (Heaven) cave, Ti\u00ean \u00d4ng cave, M\u00ea Cung (Labirynth) cave, Kim Quy (Golden Turtle) cave, Lu\u1ed3n cave, Tr\u1ed1ng (Male) cave, Trinh N\u1eef (Virgin) cave and Nam Thi\u00ean S\u01a1n cave.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Go for the B\u00e3i Ch\u00e1y Beach or B\u00e1i T\u1eed Long Bay to avoid the crowded area. Don\u2019t forget your sun cream and a hat, unless you really want your skin gets burned red like every traffic light in rush hour. If you have more time to spend, you can look for C\u00e1t B\u00e0 island with lots of activities like trekking, kayaking, climbing, national park and so on.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><em><strong>*** Local delicacies:<\/strong><\/em> Local seafoods, but as usual, you should know the exact price before order anything, some of the price mainly will follow the season or the rareness of the food.<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n \t<li value=\"3\"><strong>Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park (2 days \/ 2 nights)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** What to do:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Spend a day visit Phong Nha K\u1ebb B\u00e0ng national park, the most beautiful cave here are \u0110\u1ed9ng Thi\u00ean \u0110\u01b0\u1eddng (Paradise Cave), this is the biggest cave in the park and Hang T\u1ed1i-S\u00f4ng Ch\u00e0y (Dark Cave and Ch\u00e0y River) a small branch of river which lead you into a very dark cave inside the moutain.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Usually the popular choice is to take a trekking adventure to explore more about the history and natural beauties of the province, but if you may find it expensive, spend a day at Nh\u1eadt L\u1ec7 beach is enough. You may find lots of places that offer bike rental, if you are adventurous, you can ride around the city to its acctraction and the park without problems. But remember check the map first and the fuel on the way, don\u2019t lost in the jungle out there!<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** Local delicacies: <\/em><\/strong><em>B\u00fan C\u00e1 L\u00f3c (snakehead fish noodle soup).<\/em><\/p>\n\n<ol>\n \t<li value=\"4\"><strong>Hue\u00a0(2 days \/ 2 nights)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** What to do:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Explore Hue city including the Imperial Palace and ancient citadel, see the Ng\u1ecd M\u00f4n (Noon Gate). Take a short cruise down if you can negotiate a decent price with the ticket sellers down by the riverside of H\u01b0\u01a1ng River.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Travelling to H\u1ed9i An or \u0110\u00e0 N\u1eb5ng via the H\u1ea3i V\u00e2n Pass is a must do on a 3 weeks Vietnam itinerary, on the way you\u2019ll visit waterfalls and fresh water springs, but the most exciting part is driving through the famous pass; a 20km stretch of spectacular coastal road and panoramic scenery. The Hai Van Pass is historically significant to the Vietnam war as it was taken over by the Americans and at its highest point the bullet-damaged bunkers and patrol towers still stand today.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><em><strong>*** Local delicacies:<\/strong><\/em> B\u00fan B\u00f2 (the Vietnamese famous \u201croyal recipe\u201d beef noodle soup of the middle land) and C\u01a1m H\u1ebfn (tiny little clams rice).<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n \t<li value=\"5\"><strong>Danang &#8211; Hoian (4 days \/ 4 nights depend on where you stay in both towns)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** What to do:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">It\u2019s great for wandering round and enjoying the many cafes and bars on offer. Don\u2019t forget to see Ch\u00f9a C\u1ea7u (Japanese Covered Bridge) in the ancient\u00a0town, C\u1eeda \u0110\u1ea1i seagate on Thu B\u1ed3n River, visit Cam Kim Village, join a cooking class and enjoy An B\u00e0ng peaceful beach during the time here, you won\u2019t be dissapointed by those.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><em><strong>*** Local delicacies:<\/strong><\/em> Cao L\u1ea7u and M\u00ec Qu\u1ea3ng is the 2 famous noodles here, the first one is dry noodle while the other is noodle soup, enjoy these two and you will feel the \u201cheaven on earth\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n \t<li value=\"6\"><strong>Nha Trang (2 days \/ 2 nights)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** What to do:<\/em><\/strong> Surrounded on all three sides by mountain ranges, Nha Trang offers the picturesque vista of primary forest, water fall and high mountain peak floating in soft could.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Located 60km far from the city center, with the height of 1578m, H\u00f2n B\u00e0 Peak is regarded as \u201cthe second \u0110alat of Vi\u1ec7t Nam\u201d. Ones will need to drive about 25km of mountain pass and bendy slopes until reaching this area. Being overheated by the temperature of sunlight and ocean? The pure air and cool temperature here will definitely ease your feelings. Scientists estimate that there are more than 40 rare floras and 60 endangered species living in H\u00f2n B\u00e0 Mountain. If you are tired of beaches, H\u00f2n B\u00e0\u00a0may be a great place to visit. Other tourism destinations for your consideration in Nha Trang: Long S\u01a1n Pagoda\u00a0or Th\u00e1p B\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** Local delicacies:<\/em><\/strong> B\u00fan Ch\u1ea3 C\u00e1 (chopped fish noodle soup), B\u00fan S\u1ee9a (jellyfish noodle) and seafood.<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n \t<li value=\"7\"><strong>Dalat &#8211; Flower City (2 days \/ 2 nights)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** What to do:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">There are many places for travellers\u00a0interested in architecture to visit, such as Dalat Railway Station, designed by French architects Moncet and Reveron, or H\u1eb1ng Nga guest house, &#8220;<i>Crazy House&#8221;<\/i>\u00a0which is also an interesting place to stay.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The climate in Dalat is often called \u2018Eternal Spring\u2019 for its pleasantly warm temperatures during the day and quite cool at night, down to perhaps 10oC. Due to its favorable weather, Dalat\u00a0is a supplier of temperate produce for all over Vietnam, for example, cabbage and cauliflower. Also, it has a nickname \u2018City of Flowers\u2019. Apart from architectural places of interest, Dalat also has lots of beautiful sites such as Xuan Huong Lake\u00a0\u2013 center of town, H\u1ed3 Than Th\u1edf &#8211; Lake of Sorrow (Lake of Sighs) \u2013 5km,\u00a0Thung L\u0169ng T\u00ecnh Y\u00eau &#8211; Valley of Love, Lang Biang Mountain &#8211; has a 1900m peak, ideal for a 3-hour hike, Th\u00e1c Prenn &#8211; \u00a0Prenn Waterfalls \u2013 10km outside the town.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><em><strong>*** Local delicacies:<\/strong><\/em> specialties such as strawberry jam, dried fruits, avocado and B\u00e1nh Tr\u00e1ng N\u01b0\u1edbng (Vietnamese super thin pizza), B\u00e1nh M\u00ec X\u00edu M\u1ea1i (bread and meatball).<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n \t<li value=\"8\"><strong>Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) (4 days \/ 3 nights)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>*** What to do:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Welcome to our home, when you\u00a0visit this busy city, for city internal activities, you should never miss the Notre-Dame Catheral Basilica and the Central Post Office of French Quarter, The famous War Remnants Museum, The Jade Emperor Pagoga, one of the biggest and oldest Chinatown in the world of district 5 (Cho Lon) with its 300 years old <a href=\"https:\/\/saigonadventure.com\/blogs\/your-perfect-guide-to-thien-hau-temple\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/saigonadventure.com\/blogs\/your-perfect-guide-to-thien-hau-temple\">Thien Hau Temple <\/a>(Temple of the Sea Goddess), the Temple of Caodaism (Vietnamese unique religion), the Monuments of the Burning Monk, the Old Aparments (~60 years old military compound of Vietnam War) and the Flower Market.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">You love shopping?
